1st day
|
Arrival in Polotsk at 7:10 a.m.* Meeting at the car train №7, train number 039Щ with a sign “INNERMOST SECRETS OF BELARUSIAN NATURE” (* arrival in Vitebsk is possible. Transfer to Polotsk at 7:00a.m.).
Breakfast. Sightseeing tour “Polotsk - the oldest city of the eastern Slavs”. Excursion to the Saint Sophia Cathedral - the pearl of Kievan Rus’ architecture (XI-XVIII centuries) with a magnificent interior decoration and unique acoustics. Concert of organ music under the arches of St. Sophia Cathedral (optional, extra charge). Tour to Polotsk Jesuit College of the 18th century: a mini-tour of the “University Yard”. You will see the musical clock with moving objects, the ancient well of the 18th century, the art gallery, and an animation tour “Conversation with a mechanical head - reconstruction of Gabriel Gruber’s project “Mechanical head.”
Excursion to the Saint Euphrosyne Women monastery. Walking along the main avenue of the city – Frantsisk Skoryna Avenue and the Square Freedom: a sign of “the geographical center of Europe”, the monument to Simeon of Polotsk, monument to the heroes of the Patriotic War of 1812, etc.
Transfer to Domzheritsy, “Berezinsky Biosphere Reserve” (110 km).
Accommodation in “Serguch” Hotel, placed at the central mansion house of reserve. Resting time**.
Free time (wandering around the central mansion house of reserve, walk in the woods). Overnight stay.

Breakfast. Visit to open-air cages; Museum of Nature; “Forest Fun” rope park (on request for extra charge). Upon request of group, we can arrange excursions in kayaks on the water route (for extra charge).
Rental of sports equipment is available. Resting time**. Overnight stay.

3rd day
|
Breakfast. Transfer to Vitebsk (150 km) on request (in case of a group more than 15 people; additional payment 30.00 €).
Sightseeing excursion “Vitebsk is the Cultural Capital of Belarus”.
Perfectly preserved and restored buildings of historic area of the city of the XVIII-XIX centuries. Town Hall – the symbol of a free city. Church of the Resurrection is one of the most beautiful monuments of Vilnius Baroque, majestic Cathedral of the Assumption, the pedestrian street of Suvorov with souvenir shops, art galleries, cafes, restaurants, coffee shops located along it. The Annunciation Church is a monument of ancient architecture of the XII century. The pearl of modern architecture is the Summer Amphitheatre - the best performance venues in Europe, which runs the world famous arts festival “Slavianski Bazaar in Vitebsk”.
Transfer to the memorial house of Mark Chagall. Marc Chagall spent his early days in the house in Pokrovskaya street which was built by the artist’s father in early 1900th. Marc Chagall is one of the most popular artists of the XX century.
Free time. Visiting the boutiques of famous Belarusian brands: Marko, Milavitsa, Elema, BelKosmex, Kommunarka, Svitanok (shoes, knitwear, clothing, cosmetics, Belarusian linen, confectionery and alcoholic beverages by the top Belarusian producers). Return to the reserve. Resting time. Overnight stay.

4th day

Breakfast. Check out. Transfer to Minsk (120 km).
Sightseeing bus and walking tour around Minsk. You will see architectural monuments of historic buildings of the old town - Church of Our Lady and Red Church, male and female Bernardine monastery, street shopping rows, Town Hall, and ancient Nemiga. A walk around the restored Trinity suburb - the old quarter of XVIII-XIX centuries will leave unforgettable impressions. Picturesque twisting streets, cozy cafes, craftsman houses, artist galleries.
Transfer to Dudutki (45 km) (on request for extra charge of 13.00 €).
Tour to one of the most popular ethnographic museums in Belarus. Tasting the local products will help you to plunge into the real atmosphere of szlachta life of the XIX century:
- The miller’s treats (lard (salo), bread, onions, salted cabbage)
- Brewery eats and drinks (old gentry vodka, traditional snacks)
- Bakery treats (bread, cheese, butter, herbal tea)
- Treats at the forest bee-keeper’s house (honey).
Return to Minsk. Transfer to the railway station. Departure.
